This series exists as a re-exploration of the place of my secondary education. In these images one bears witness to how, through the construction of a scene and using methods of staging or interference, it is possible to bring about a recollection of memory.

Against the formality of the architecture in this space - the rigidity and repetition in material, colour and shape- we discover clues of the adolescent drama, uncertainty, and change, which I remember taking  within this site in my own formative years. The prosaic environment is punctuated by implications of human presence and activity, lingering ghosts of days past. These residual objects and symbols form part of a visual language which can be connected with on an intuitive level.
