Resettlement
This series explores the relationship between an object and its photographic representation, and the effects found in translation between the two. Through the process of transforming two dimensions to three, and back again I am exploring what happens at each stage of translation. The work simultaneously presents the viewer with an image that only aids to emphasize its absence; the gap that remains opens up a space for interpretation.
