As consumers, images and illustrations of advertised objects create a psychological effect on our behaviour. For decades consumers have been standing in front of representations of advertised products while contemplating whether they should purchase them or not, by the measure of how much the products for them are needs or wants, or both.
The presented images are appropriated photographs of small thumbnails that introduce the online consumer to the products. By clicking on these thumbnails, the digital-age consumer executes an instinctive interest, which can be seen as his or her first step of the eventual possible consumption.
