The aura of the contemporary city is transmitted in this project through a series of intermingling paradoxes and juxtaposed ambiguities, which together generate a visual diversity, imposing the liquefying atmosphere of excess. In such a kaleidoscopic spectacle lies the rebus of the city– that which speaks of unstable ambiances and shifting perspectives, of intensity and spontaneity, of chaos and sensational multiplicity. In this urban space we can no longer expect to find a concrete answer, nor rationalize the spectacle, nor decipher the hieroglyph as if it pointed to only one meaning. Instead, the notions of dream-like vision and immersive experience, evoked in the project, exacerbate the feelings of indeterminacy, elusiveness and perceptual overload.
